GUS is implementing the Primary Education Strengthening Program with a view to facilitating underprivileged students of pre-primary, grade-1, and grade-4 classes belonging to low-income households to perform better in classes and exams to curb dropout. Under this program, 20 Learning Centers have been established nationwide to provide doorstep tuition service to the target group. For each center, a mentor who offers tuition assistance to underprivileged children through Five classes in a week has been assigned. A number of 600 students are deriving benefits from this program of GUS.
